The Tallahassee Alumnae Chapter is dedicated to developing community programs designed to provide assistance, relief and resources to developing countries; as well as fostering local advocacy for social injustices. Our current and past initiatives include:

Chapters Beyond Books

Tallahassee Alumnae Chapter partnered with the Children's Defense Fund’s to distribute culturally relevant books the Dr. Eva C. Wanton Library in Mampong, Ghana.

World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day is celebrated nation-wide on December 1st. Each year our chapter commemorates this celebration through participation with area organizations

I CAN FLY

I CAN FLY International supports youth in marginalized and under-resourced communities so they will have increased access to educational resources that promote early learning and development; empower the teachers to provide knowledge and skills that lead to improved quality of life, and supply a sustainable rescue and resource center.
